I Was Named Among 7 Must Follow Social Workers On Twitter

In honor of Social Work Month, my colleague Rachel L. West, MSW, LMSW from The Political Social Worker recently published a list of 7 great Social Workers to Follow on Twitter. I’m honored to have been included among the other great people featured in the list.

“Don’t you just love Twitter?  It gives you the chance to connect with others from around the world and to keep up with news stories.

I predominantly use Twitter for professional purposes, which means I mostly follow social workers, politicians and social justice activists.  Below is a list of the 7 best social workers on Twitter to follow.  I based this list on activity (those that tweet frequently) and the quality of their tweets (informative content that you can learn something from).”

I'm a Social Justice Educator and Aspiring Humanitarian who is interested in conflict resolution, improving intergroup relations, and building more equitable and inclusive communities. "Notes from an Aspiring Humanitarian" is my blog, where I write about issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice. By exploring social identities through written word, film & video, and other forms of media, I hope to continue to expand and enrich conversations about social issues that face our society, and to find ways to take social action while encouraging others to do so as well in their own ways.
