Denial Is The Fuel That Feeds Rape Culture
“I often hear conversations about sexual assault being framed. I often hear warnings about “stranger danger”; that people will be assaulted by a random stranger who does not know them. While this does happen, what the data also suggests is that people who rape are people we know.”
Your Outrage At The $15 An Hour Crowd Is Misdirected
“Some people may take a “that’s what they get” attitude about protesters, no, fellow human beings who advocate for a liveable wage, and while many people are in an uproar and are boycotting businesses that acknowledge the rights of people who are transgender, please believe that the current system would also hold no qualms about replacing you in the future should you get too “upity” and realize that you are also not being paid enough.”
Education Technology And Teaching In Higher Ed
“There are many smart, capable people who would do well in whatever field they wish to enter in, but because of life circumstances, and a variety other reasons they do not have the access to obtain the credentialed education that would grant them further access into their desired career. In this way, access to education is a matter of privilege and not a matter of intelligence.”
